๐Ÿ•ย Accessibility Audit for Telepizza Website
Client: Telepizza
Goal: Evaluate the level of accessibility of the Telepizza website according to WCAG 2.2 guidelines, identify issues, and provide recommendations to improve user experience and compliance.
Tasks performed: Conducted a low-level accessibility audit, including manual testing and automated checks, prepared documentation of issues, and suggested corrective actions. The results were shared with the client through reports and presentations.
Team: The team was formed by two Accessibility Experts (including me, with another expert presenting findings to the client), and two Product Managers leading the project.

Working model: Agile sprint approach

Workflow:

We carried out an accessibility audit on a representative sample of the Telepizza website. The process started with semi-automated analysis tools to quickly detect common issues, followed by an in-depth manual review. This included testing with keyboard navigation, screen reader navigation, and additional checks to cover a wide range of user scenarios.

From these results, we defined an accessibility heuristic to guide our evaluation and ensure consistency in how issues were categorized and prioritized. Finally, we developed an accessible release plan with clear actions and milestones to resolve all identified issues across both the Portugal and Spain websites.
This project allowed me to apply both technical and methodological knowledge, working closely with another accessibility expert and product managers to ensure that accessibility improvements were not only identified but also embedded into the release process.
